My Profile

After completing my studies of English Language and Literature, specializing in Translation, at the University of Utrecht in 1998, I worked as a in-house translator and as a translation coordinator. In those positions I have gained knowledge in various fields, including automotive texts and software localisation and documentation.

Since March 2006 I have been working as a freelance translator. Because I am interested in a broad range of subjects, I have not limited myself to one or two fields. I like researching a topic thoroughly, making sure the terms in the translation are appropriate for the subject.
